This is another cake I made in February, actually it was the same week as the Ladybug cake so it was a very busy week!

This cake was a joint cake for my Husband and Sister, who celebrate their birthdays a day apart. They were turning the big 30, so it needed to be special!

I originally wanted to make them a cake each – I wanted to make my Husband a wine bottle cake and my Sister a Tiffany Gift Box Cake, but when I received the order for the Ladybug cake, I knew I wouldn’t have time to do three cakes in one week! Instead I decided on a stacked gift box cake so they would have a gift box each. The hardest part was making sure that the colours weren’t too girly, so I kept the Tiffany Blue that I wanted to use on my Sister’s cake and added dark purple and white. I added a loopy bow to the top tier and a spotted bow to the bottom tier.

I was very happy with this cake and loved the colour combination! Hopefully it made turning 30 a little happier!
