For my Mum’s birthday, I decided to re-create the exploding stars cake that I learnt to make at Planet Cake.  I made a white chocolate mud cake with white chocolate ganache and decided on pink and orange for my colours.  I am pretty happy with the result, although I would have liked sharper edges.  I don’t think I waited long enough for the ganache to set!
