For my first festive season as a novice cake decorator, I signed up for two courses at Cake Decorating Central at Castle Hill.  My husband was away for work for most of November and the beginning of December, so to fill in my lonely nights, I decided cake decorating would make me happy.

I signed up for the 3D Christmas Tree Cake and the Nativity Cake.  I learnt a lot from these courses, including how to make figurines… I still have a lot to learn!

I was very happy with the result of these two cakes and they made great centrepieces for Christmas Day!
